I’m back! This is my personal blog. Lots of work to do.

First, I created this on Digital Ocean, making a VERY fast WordPress droplet. It is going to cost $6 / month on the lowest tier and I’ll see how it all fits together. This is a leaps-and-bounds easier setup than previous ones. Years ago, I hosted on GoDaddy. Of course, the trade off for all this fancy automation is granular control of the setup. That’s a thing I’m willing to let go of at this point, having spent years on the nuts-and-bolts of getting a WP system set up.

I moved DNS for this over to Google Domains last year. Managing that has been wicked easy and pointing the domain records over to DO was a snap.
