Wings, celery, a black ramekin of ranch, a white plate &mdash; the platonic ideal of &#8220;fine, unremarkable, would order again.&#8221; No restaurant name survives in the photo, which by this point in the blog you&#8217;ve probably come to expect from me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you&#8217;re in the area anyway:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/thetrustees.org\/place\/chestnut-hill-farm\/\">Chestnut Hill Farm<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southboroughma.gov\/652\/Beals-Preserve\">Beals Preserve<\/a> are both good excuses to walk some of this off.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Update: Probably The Halfway Cafe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost certainly <a href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/massachusetts\/marlborough\/don-patron-restaurant-takes-over-marlborough-halfway-caf-site\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Halfway Cafe<\/a> \u2014 technically just over the line in Marlborough, not Southborough, but the coordinates match consistently across all three of these visits. Locally famous for free popcorn on every table (see: Take Two&#8217;s popcorn bowl) and a huge sauce list.
