A dark bar, a white plate, wings with ranch, carrots and celery doing their part. The lighting situation in this photo suggests either a very moody restaurant or a photographer (me) who had already had a beer. No signage visible either way, so we’ll never know which.
If you’re in the area anyway: check the Albany.org things-to-do guide or the Albany.com events calendar for whatever’s happening when you’re in town — better lit, presumably.
Update: Probably Savoy Taproom (or Lark Tavern)
Two real candidates on Lark Street, Albany, and no way to fully separate them: Savoy Taproom (301 Lark St — the coordinates land almost exactly here, and they serve jumbo wings with ranch or blue cheese) or Lark Tavern (453 Madison Ave, a few blocks off — an older, dimmer dive bar that better matches the ‘bad lighting’ in the photo). Presenting both rather than picking one.
