Bedford Takeout and the Mystery of “Love Energy Food”

Grilled or blackened wings with an herb garnish and a hot sauce drizzle, packed in a plain pizza-style takeout box — and stuck to the bag, a sticker reading LOVE ENERGY FOOD in yellow text I could not fully make out. Is that the restaurant’s name? A delivery service’s branding? A koan I’m meant to sit with? I genuinely don’t know, and at this point I’ve decided I don’t want to, because “Love Energy Food” might be the single best unexplained detail in this entire archive.

If you’re in the area anyway: Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful, easy walk if you need to think about “Love Energy Food” some more in a peaceful setting.

Update: Solved — Craft Food Halls, Revolution Hall

“Love Energy Food” isn’t a mystery brand — it’s the tagline of Craft Food Halls’ Revolution Hall, 3 Maguire Rd (right on the Bedford/Lexington line, which explains the “Bedford” label). The coordinates land exactly on the building, and the Sousviderie vendor there serves Maple Smoked Wings that match the grilled, herb-garnished plate in the photo. This one’s about as solved as these get.
