A late lunch at the Colonial Inn in Concord, MA, Thursday, August 13th — the dark, low-ceilinged pub room, not the main dining room, and the kitchen was far enough away that the fryer was never actually audible. The wings were sauced just enough and plated well, though on the salty side. Lunch crowd skewed older. Separately, and for the record: the bartender did not know how to make a Cape Codder, even after three tries.
