No photo — a spontaneous stop in Berlin, CT the day before this post, late morning. The pizza itself was just okay. The staff, though, were genuinely nice about it: no pre-made pepperoni slices ready to go, so they tried to fake one together on the spot — and didn’t quite get the pepperoni properly heated through before handing it over. To be fair, showing up in the late morning probably caught them before the day’s prep was really finished. They gave the slice away for free rather than charge for a miss, which counts for something. The free Sicilian slice that came with it, for what it’s worth, was actually good.
